update March 2011 : as of 11th March 2011, Facebook will no longer allow us to crate static fbml. So, you couldn’t use this version anymore :( . Currently, i’m cooking some method to create and manage FB Pages via popular cms ( currently i’m picking wordpress ), so stay tuned :)

Simpleez is a squeeze page designed for faceboook Fan Page. With the vast everly growing Facebook user you could grab your prospect attention to your products.

This simple template is just a sneak peak on how you could get benefit on using facebook fan page. Fan page is public, so its indexed by Search Engines, if you know good SEO you know what that mean. And because its not behind the facebook’s login, even user without facebook account can still see it.
Get people to be your product’s fan, and you could send them updates. Every update you do will go to their news feeds ( except, of course, unless they’ve turn it off).
From here, you could direct your audience to your website, products, follow your twitter ( networking with other platform ).

How to install ?

  • Unzip the package and you’ll find these directory :
    • /psd ( this directory contain photoshop files for the image/banner)
    • /simpleez (this is the template)
  • upload the content of /simpleez to your webserver, lets say http://www.domain.com/simpleez/ . so the sructure on http://www.domain.com/simpleez/ would be like :
    • /..
    • [i]
    • ie.css
    • style.css
    • simpliz.css

    you don’t need to upload the simpleez.fbml file.

  • Create your page
  • Add FBML App to your Page
  • Edit the FBML code
    1. Open simpleez.fbml on your favourite html code editor ( remember to view the code, just in case u use wysiwyg editor, such as dreamweaver )
    2. Edit the links of css to your uploaded one, i.e http://www.domain.com/simpleez/simpliz.css
    3. Some of the icon image src need to be updated too, i.e
    4. Edit the HTML to suit your needs ( the copy, links, etc )
    5. Select all the code, copy
    6. Go to your Edit Page, then edit FBML
    7. Give title
    8. Paste the code
    9. Save
  • Check your page tabs
  • Make the appropriate tabs as default for landing pages
